The addition of colours blue, cyan, green, and purple, which is not authentic with original
BalasHapusjavanese colours such red, brown and gold, has brought the illustration away further from its original concept, not saying that the artworks (the after-works) has succeeded to explode the whole feel into a new realm, a new feel of the story itself.
I think, the whole story just became softener.
(some idiots probably will say, ahhhhh we do
laundry now). But anton had managed never loosing his signature in his sense of art, especially in doing scratching/drawing on his pictures. It is what he does at his heart.
Allow me to say to all copycaters:
..DIE, just DIE!!!
(pity,then it is just pure cosmetic of what they [the copycaters] do, trying to get an instant fame by re-making & re-packing other artist's artworks).
Hey thanks a lot for commenting, really appreciate it. But we think nowadays there's so many references from everywhere, we hope we can give such pleasure to anyone seeing this blog. To be truly original is almost impossible, but being able to project what's in your soul through your work is a blessing. Cheers!! :D
